Before you were a….

In Change, Insight, Leadership

Before you could you walk, you weren’t a walker, and then you started walking

Before you could you talk, you weren’t a talker, and then you started talking

Before you could ride a bicycle, you weren’t a biker, and then you started riding

Before you were a mother or father, you weren’t, and then you were a parent.

Before you skied, you didn’t ski, then you started skiing

Before you were a coach, you weren’t a coach, and then you started coaching

Before you managed projects, you didn’t manage projects, and then you started managing projects

Before you were a leader, you weren’t a leader, and then you started leading

There’s a big difference between ‘I can’t do that’ and ‘I don’t know how to do that just yet’.  Which one do you tell yourself?
